Monday Kickoff · No. 2 · 28 September 2026

Five taps, and everything else is already built and waiting.

Since Friday’s Roundup, none of the five open questions below has been answered, and no commits landed in any of the fleet’s three repos on Stacy’s side. The seven agent seats that closed nine days ago for a desktop-app rebuild are still closed — nobody has restarted them, so every box below is an honest empty for the same reason. One commit reached the shared repo this period, from Elizabeth’s side; it is hers to report, not this document’s. This page was itself three weeks overdue — no Kickoff had published since 8 September, and it kept serving that edition’s content live the whole time while two more Roundups came and went. That gap closes here.

Executive summary

Veterans Navigation

Unchanged since Friday. Direction, headline and home page are the same; the engagement stays paused for the mini rebuild, and the two questions blocking a ship are unchanged, in Blockers below.

Cairo

No activity. The seat that leads this client work has not run since his own 17 September handoff.

Aidan

No activity, and the Monday sweep isn’t missing — it runs Thursdays into Friday’s Roundup, on purpose.

Kai

Idle continues. No research recorded since the 19 September handoff.

Craig

Quiet since his own clean 17 September handoff. Both items he is waiting on are unchanged, in Blockers below.

Claire

A fourth period running with nothing in flight. The decision that would end this is unchanged, open since 31 August.

Elizabeth’s side

Company Updates unpublished, now three weeks stale. One commit landed in the shared repo this period — a session-rotation tool — which is Daisy’s to detail, not this document’s.

Blockers

Stacy · not recoverable once read

Contextthe fleet check is still failing on this

check_fleet.py’s exemption for health information is hard-coded to exactly two files: CANON.md and templates/org-instructions.md, approved by Stacy and recorded in CANON’s 4 September entry. Craig’s 17 September handoff (docs/continuity/handoffs/craig-2026-09-17.md, lines 143 and 146) restates a founder’s health detail outside those two files, in a doc that ships to every collaborator with the plugin.

This is Craig’s own handoff, so redacting or relocating it is a judgment call about his work, not one this session made unilaterally. Carried unchanged from Friday — re-run just now, check_fleet.py still reports both lines.

Stacy · about two minutes

Contextthe last route nobody has tried

Craig still has no GitHub transport on the mini. claude mcp add for GitHub’s hosted server hits “Incompatible auth server: does not support dynamic client registration” — a confirmed dead end, not a retry problem.

The first-party claude.ai connector list is the one path not yet tested, and it is Stacy’s to check in her own account settings. Unchanged from Friday.

Stacy · open since 31 August, fourth period running

Contextstill an inert agent, not a pending decision

Claire has now done no work across four straight periods, this one included. Her four engines were built generic on 30 August against slots a founder has to fill.

Filling the slots and parking her on purpose are both answers. The current state — neither — is the only one that keeps costing nothing while producing nothing.

Either founder · governs two open client questions

Contextthe home page is drawn; these are what still can't ship

Veterans Navigation Network is worked as a full client with one carve-out: nobody contacts them. Two open questions cannot be answered by any agent while that holds — which of four live giving destinations is canonical, and whether to publish a crisis path.

Neither blocks the design work. Both block shipping. Answering this tells the fleet whether to keep drawing or stop at the mock. Unchanged from Friday.

Elizabeth · not urgent, for when she is able

Contexttwo items, both hers, neither blocking anyone

Canon §5 changed on 16 September, so every surface pasted before then carries a superseded storage rule. Separately the documents tree still sits in iCloud, which is hers because it is her account.

Nothing on Stacy’s side waits on either. Carried again because neither has moved, not because either is now urgent.

Clients

Veterans Navigation NetworkClient · Cairo leads

Unchanged since Friday’s Roundup. Direction, headline and home page are the same; the engagement is still paused mid-pass for the mini rebuild, and nothing this period required contact.

Where it stands

  • Nothing moved this period. The pause that started 19 September for the seat rebuild is still in effect; no session has picked this client back up.
  • The two remaining open questions are unchanged — which of four giving destinations is canonical, and whether to publish a crisis path. Both are in Blockers above, and both block shipping, not drawing.

Agents

CairoDesign

Nothing this period. The seat that carries Veterans Navigation Network closed on 17 September for the mini’s rebuild and has not reopened; nothing in Cairo’s own queue moved either.

Carried, not new

  • Two items from his 17 September handoff are still open: the screenshot fix that catches reference sites silently missing from a sweep isn’t merged to main, and the comp is reachable only while a server keeps running on the mini’s own wifi — no durable way yet for Stacy to see it from her phone.

AidanCopy · comms

Nothing this period, and the Monday sweep isn’t the reason. The weekly Instagram intake moved to Thursdays landing in Friday’s Roundup weeks ago (issue #19) — there is no Monday sweep to report, by design.

Carried, not new

  • No commits since his own 19 September handoff (03000df). Nothing in his queue has moved since Friday’s Roundup.

KaiResearch

Idle continues. The mini seat has produced no research since its 19 September handoff, which said the same thing about the five days before it.

Carried, not new

  • No question has been scoped and no corpus collected since 14 September. The 19 September handoff is still the last word from this seat.

Research · reported by Aimee from Stacy’s machine

CraigWeb · IT

Quiet since his own clean 17 September handoff. No commits from any of the three repos this period; both items he is waiting on are unchanged.

Carried, not new

  • The privacy leak in his own handoff is still open — Stacy’s call to redact or relocate it, not this session’s to make. In Blockers above.
  • Still no GitHub transport on the mini. The one untried path is Stacy’s to check in her own claude.ai connector settings, also in Blockers above.

ClaireAdmin

A fourth period running with nothing in flight. No intake, scheduling, invoice or follow-up in any of the three repos since Friday, same as every period since 31 August.

Carried, not new

  • The decision that would end this is unchanged — fill her remaining slots, or park her on purpose. Both are answers; the current state, neither, is not. In Blockers above.

Changelog · since the Roundup of 25 September

What actually changed

  • One commit landed in the shared hi-agents repo this period — a session-rotation skill, authored on Elizabeth’s side (ba648b4, 25 September). Hers to detail in her own Company Updates; not restated here.
  • The release-freshness gate is clean again. The files flagged unbumped past 0.25.61 on Friday are resolved — a fresh check_fleet.py run just now reports zero failures on that check.
  • This surface itself was found stale and is fixed by this edition. No Kickoff had published since 8 September — it kept serving that edition’s content live, unarchived, while two more Roundups (No. 2, No. 3) came and went.

Known and unfixed

  • The health-information leak in Craig’s 17 September handoff is still live in the repo. Unresolved since Friday; the decision is in Blockers above.
  • Elizabeth’s Company Updates is now three weeks stale (last published 5 September, per check_fleet.py). Daisy’s file to close, not this document’s.
  • No agent seat has run since 19 September. The rebuild Stacy approved that day hasn’t restarted; every box above is an honest empty because of that, not because the work ran out.

Everything changed since the Roundup of 25 September that is not a decision above · assembled by Aimee

Before this publishedReader passes

Two agents who did not assemble this page read it before publish. Findings below were fixed or answered before publish; nothing shipped with a caveat attached.

What the passes found

  • Receipts pass: 13 claims checked, 1 unreceipted — Kai, 2026-09-28. The header called five taps “the fastest thing on this page,” a comparative claim with nothing behind it — reworded before publish. Everything else, including every handoff date and the empty verdict count from the live store, checked out against its source.
  • Presentation pass: 3 findings — Cairo, 2026-09-28. Two real ones, both fixed: the new Blockers forward-links on Friday’s Roundup had lost their heading style (no .hiap ancestor for the .hq rule to match — added a bare rule), and that page’s back-link still pointed at the Kickoff of 8 September, which this edition just overwrote — repointed to the actual preceding edition, Roundup 9/18. The third finding was this line itself, expected to still say “pending” until both passes landed.
