The Friday Roundup · No. 1 · 4 September 2026

Everything for the standup, on one link.

Six things to go through. Five of them used to live on Elizabeth's laptop or her personal Claude account, which meant Stacy could not open any of them. They are all here now.

Before anything else. The fleet plugin was six versions behind the repo — 0.9.3 against 0.15.0 — so seven writing standards were shipped and silently not loading for anyone. Fixed on Elizabeth's machine at 7:50 this morning. Stacy: run claude plugin marketplace update hi then claude plugin update hi-fleet@hi, and restart.

The proposal

Make this a standing Friday thing

The Friday Roundup. Every Friday morning, before we meet, one link carries the week's work — every deck, review page and decision either of us needs to open. Not a status report. The actual artifacts, assembled, sorted by whose call it is.

Why it's worth a routine. This page took an hour of emergency work this morning, because five of six things on today's agenda could not be opened by the person they were for. Three were local web servers on Elizabeth's laptop that had quietly stopped overnight, with their only copies sitting in a temporary folder macOS deletes on its own. Two were on a personal Claude account, which returns a hard 404 to anyone signed in as hi!. Every browser kept showing a cached copy, so none of it looked broken until someone else tried to look.

What it costs. Nothing new to learn and nothing to maintain — it is a skill the fleet runs, so it happens whether or not either of us remembers. Roughly ten minutes, Friday morning, before it is urgent.

What it replaces. Six links that mostly don't work, with one that does. Each week gets its own dated address, so a decision from three weeks ago is still findable instead of living in a chat scroll.

This week's decisions

Green when you have both signed off. Red when it is waiting on one of you, and it says which.

Waiting on a decision

01

Claire — the handoff

Seven blanks and three decisions, open since 31 August. Claire's engines stay inert on unfilled slots, so she cannot leave training until these land. The longest-standing block in the fleet.

Kai — first brief and handoff

Kai's first research brief cleared Elizabeth's review on 31 August. Outstanding from Stacy: confirm the name. The charter roster and README still read "parked-candidate" and want correcting either way.

Cairo — the deepening pass

Craft widened to decks, social, print and motion, with a verified size manifest. On main since 31 August and unshipped until this morning's version bump. Next up is Cairo's first training run on the hi! deck template.

The Hose Water Audit

The full dry-run audit — findings, creative direction, the after-state mock, and the SEO and channels strategies — now hosted here with the shared approval strips, so it opens for both founders like everything else. The personal-account artifact it briefly lived on is superseded.
